, an Emerson Impact Partner, the global leader of automation systems and solutions, is currently offering an opportunity for a Final Control Project Manager to be part of our Midwest Valve Services (MVS) business unit.
This role will include managing projects and services related to control valves, pressure relief valves, isolation valves and related actuation.
The successful candidate will assist our Sales Operations, Sales, and Field Service teams in the development and delivery of final control solutions for our industrial customers.
Valve Repair Project Manager Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Manage multiple concurrent final control projects.
Including valve repair, construction management and other customer outage scope deliverablesInterface for internal service/project teams, customers, suppliers, Emerson divisions, EPCs, Impact PartnersManage team efforts within MVS project methodology including the design, documentation, implementation, testing, installation and commissioning of final control productsEstablish and meet project team commitments and deadlines Provide project status reports and serve as primary customer interface for scope, schedule, and budget Balance customer satisfaction and project profitability objectivesWork independently and as part of customer project teamsParticipate in sales pursuits and proposal developmentLead scope expansion and change order processRequirements:
Valve Repair Project Manager Education and/or
Experience:
Project management certification preferred (PMP, CPM)2 years of project management experience preferredCustomer relationship management experience requiredComfortable working in an industrial environmentExperience working with valve, actuation and automation products preferred Valve Repair Project Manager Additional Requirements:
Ability to work with and inspire othersCapacity to participate in a dynamic, technical and customer-oriented cultureDesire for continual training and education Travel to customer facilitiesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsValve Repair Project Manager
