Job Description:
We are seeking an organized, professional individual to work as a Front Desk Receptionist at our fast-paced clinic.
The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and customer service skills combined with a genuine desire to help our patients.
Candidate will have excellent organizational and time management skills.
Being a team player is important for this position as well.
The ideal candidate will also assist with chiropractic therapies when needed (will train/certify).
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet and welcome patients and visitors at the front desk - Answer phone calls and educate patients and prospective patients about our care - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment schedule - Keep up with email correspondence - Maintain patient records and update necessary information in the system - Abide by HIPAA laws - Perform administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents - Enter patient charges and process payments - Provide excellent customer service and address patient inquiries or concerns - Collaborate with doctors, manager, and coworkers to ensure smooth operations of the clinic - Follow office procedures accurately, consistently, and in a professional manner - Assist with Chiropractic therapies when needed (will train/certify).
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist in a health/medical setting is preferred - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to learn our Practice Management Software - Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) - Excellent organizational and time management abilities - Punctuality and self-motivation - Dedication to maintaining confidentiality of patient information - Ability to be a team player - Willingness to undergo additional training to assist with Chiropractic therapies - Professional demeanor Note:
