Summary:
Performs a variety of production support duties including, but not limited to loading, unloading, prepping, counting, assembling, fabricating and packaging material safely and efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Handles material on to the packaging line.
According to customer specifications which includes proper counting, handling, finishing, and stacking methods.
Uses tools including but not limited to tape measures, banders, air hoses, and overhead cranes Operate on packaging machine.
Actively watches for quality issues and reports any quality deviations to the department lead or supervisor immediately.
Establishes efficient work flow based on product, task, and work area.
Efficiently uses department supplies and notifies the correct person when supplies are running low.
Lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
Working Environment and Personal Protective Equipment:
Work in a manufacturing environment without climate control.
Mandatory overtime may be required.
Safety glasses, foot protection, ear protection, sleeves, gloves, and long pants Desired Minimum
Qualifications:
Knowledge of production operations and experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Ability to read, count, perform simple math equations and accurately measure is required.
Previous experience with small hand tools is beneficial.
Ability to work in a team or independently.
Previous work experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is helpful.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to navigate on computer software such as CFS, Epicor and UKG.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
